I started my career in education in 1990 teaching business and marketing classes at Abraham Lincoln High School in Council Bluffs, IA.  In the fall of 1997 I came to West Lyon to serve as principal for grades seven through twelve. My undergraduate studies were through Northwestern college and my graduate studies were completed at the University of Northern Iowa.

My wife Karen and I enjoy our home in Larchwood. We have two boys, and a daughter-in-law in our family. My interests outside of school include photography and woodworking and I’m a diehard KC Chiefs fan in addition to the West Lyon Wildcats.
