- Industrial Arts Teacher
Searching for a dynamic, engaging teacher that is knowledgeable with the latest technology in Industrial Arts.
West Lyon High School is a high performing school in both academics and extracurricular activities, including Skills USA. We have a 10,000 sq foot shop with state-of-the-art industrial grade equipment including CNC machines, industrial 36" belt sander table, two SawStop table saws, 20 seat computer lab for CADD, 3D printers and laser engraver.  
This is a very dynamic program with nearly half of the high school students, including girls, enrolling in at least one Industrial Arts class each year. 
Classes include CADD, Cabinet Making, Construction, Auto Tech, and Intro to ITE.
Skills USA advisor included with this position with an extended day contract.

- School Bus Driver: 
Open positions are for full-time and part-time drivers. Candidates must have or be able to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver License with a School Bus Endorsement and a passenger endorsement. Completion of a post offer/pre-employment drug-screening test is mandatory. Candidates must also obtain a Medical Examiners Certificate (DOT physical). Upon initial hire by the district, applicants must complete the state mandated School Transportation Operation Program, which is a seventeen hour bus driver training course.  No experience is necessary. The district is willing to train and assist qualified, interested applicants in getting their CDL and endorsements.  Contact Lucas Bouwman, if interested.
